Mission Statement
The University of Tennessee Extension is an off-campus division of the UT Institute of Agriculture. It is a statewide educational organization, funded by federal, state and local governments, that brings research-based information about agriculture, family and consumer sciences, and resource development to the people of Tennessee where they live and work.
2010 Master Gardener Class
The University of Tennessee Extension in Bledsoe and Sequatchie Counties will be offering a Master Gardening course consisting of 13 weekly classes. Classes meet each Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 PM CST beginning January 14th. The course ends April 8th. Classes will be held at the Sequatchie valley Campus of Chattanooga State Community College. Applications are due December 15, 2009. Cost for the program is $100.00, which includes all course materials and a Master Gardening reference book.
